Residential Design Project – Taytay, Rizal (2nd Project)

Proposed Architectural Design & 3D Visualization of a Two-Storey Split-Level Residential Building

Location: Taytay, Rizal

Lot Area: 700 sq.m.

Total Floor Area: 336 sq.m.

Located on an uphill lot in Taytay, Rizal, this two-storey split-level residential building serves as a prime example of Modern Tropical Architecture. Spanning a total floor area of 336 sq.m. on a 700 sq.m. lot, the design maximizes the sloped terrain to create a functional, multi-tiered structure that integrates seamlessly with its natural environment.

The architectural design utilizes a brise soleil system to manage solar heat gain while maintaining natural ventilation. Large glass panels and clerestory windows are framed by dark metal accents, contrasting with warm wood-textured siding and stone masonry at the base. The roof structure incorporates solar panels, providing a sustainable energy source for the household.

The interior focuses on high-ceiling communal spaces and specialized rooms, such as a themed children’s bedroom with integrated bunk beds. Smart home technology is a core feature, with wall-mounted control panels integrated throughout the living areas, kitchen, and bedrooms. This automation extends to the smart toilet and bath, enhancing the functionality of the private quarters.

As ARKOSENYO’s second residential development in Taytay, Rizal, this project prioritizes structural efficiency and climate-responsive materials.
