This two-storey split-level residential building in Tagaytay City is a 980 sq.m. structure situated on a 750 sq.m. lot. Designed in the Modern Tropical architectural style, the exterior features a combination of wood-textured cladding, stone, and glass. The facade is defined by curvature ledges and vertical sun louvers that provide solar shading while maintaining natural ventilation.
The building incorporates state-of-the-art systems, including integrated smart home technology and solar panels for energy efficiency. The garage is equipped with dedicated EV charging stations for electric vehicles.
Within the residence, the architectural centerpiece is a unique “Tree of Life” stair design that serves as a central vertical element. The interior material palette utilizes warm wood tones, large-format stone tiles, and expansive glazing to connect indoor spaces with the surrounding landscape. Private areas include a smart toilet and bath system featuring automated fixtures and digital interfaces for environmental control. The kitchen and living areas are organized to facilitate a fluid transition between split levels, utilizing recessed lighting and natural materials to reinforce the tropical design aesthetic.
