The Tanghalang Rizal Auditorium in Pasig City stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines. To honor its legacy and ensure its continued relevance, a comprehensive renovation design project was undertaken, aiming to revitalize the space while preserving its historical significance.

This project encompasses the proposed architectural design, meticulously crafted 3D visualizations that brought the vision to life, and finally, the impactful outcome captured in the actual completed photos of the auditorium. The renovated space boasts a total floor area of 1,305 square meters, offering an enhanced environment for artistic expression and cultural engagement.

Furthermore, the building’s blue color signifies the city color of Pasig City, reflecting the approval of Mayor Vico Sotto and demonstrating the project’s alignment with the city’s vision. This renovation project exemplifies the successful revitalization of a cultural landmark, ensuring its continued role as a space for artistic expression, cultural engagement, and community connection.

The design, finalized in November 2020, struck a delicate balance between honoring the architectural heritage of Tanghalang Rizal and incorporating contemporary elements to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. This renovation project serves as a model for how cultural landmarks can be revitalized while fostering a vibrant and inclusive space for the community to connect with its past and embrace the future.

ARKOSENYO finalized the Detailed Architectural and Engineering Design Services (DAEDS) contract documents in November 2020.
